Haliburton & District Lions Club and the Haliburton Rotary donate $1,673.45 to the 4Cs Food Bank in Haliburton

THE HIGHLAND FESTIVAL SINGERS CELEBRATES THEIR 20TH ANNIVERSARY WITH THE HELP OF THE HALIBURTON & DISTRICT LIONS CLUB APPLYING FOR AN ONTARIO TRILLIUM GRANT AND SUPPORTED BY THE HALIBURTON COUNTY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION.

The Highland Festival Singers (62 voice local choir) and 4 professional soloists (Graham Thomson, Jon-Paul Decosse, Charlene Santoni and Heather Jewson) performed Handel's Messiah accompanied by an 18 piece orchestra, the Talisker Players Chamber Orchestra at St. George's Anglican Church on November 26th and 27th, 2011. 

LION BETTY MILLS IS HOLDING THE LIONS' BANNER AND REPRESENTS THE HALIBURTON & DISTRICT LIONS CLUB, MPP LAURIE SCOTT REPRESENTS THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT, KLARA OYLER REPRESENTS THE ONTARIO TRILLIUM FOUNDATION AND WENDY GUNNING REPRESENTED THE HALIBURTON COUNTY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
