Welcome to the Hamilton Lions Website!!
The Hamilton Lions club is based out of the small town of Hamilton located in Central New York. We are a fairly small but very active club that has been growing steadily in the last 5 years. Our club has been active since 1954 when it was chartered and we have worked hard to help our local community as much as possible.
Some of our current activities include helping at local Red Cross blood drives, participating in the adopt-a-highway program, sorting eyeglasses for donation, purchasing and distributing backpacks for local children in need, participating in the Pet-a-Palooza event for local pet adoption agencies, Interfaith Children Christmas sponsorship and also donations to our local public library.
Our fundraisers include a Mother's Day Rose sale, Christmas pictures with Santa, holiday basket raffle and our Election Day spaghetti dinner.
We are an energetic and busy group who always has fun during our meetings and fundraisers. We are always looking for new members who can help add fun and new ideas to our club. We try and hold two membership drives per year so if you are not sure if the Lions Club is for you or not please feel free to come to one of those informational meetings. Attendance at one of our monthly meetings can be arranged as well. Please contact our membership chair, Glenda Penoyer, if you would like more information or inquire about joining our club!!!
