Lions Club Helsinki-Finlandia is a mixed club, where young men and women are actively working together to help and to serve our community. The club was founded in 1990 and since the beginning the focus on service activities has been local youth and disabled.

Our members come from various backgrounds and professions, ranging from consultant to goldsmith, and from nurse to managing director. Yet, it is not relevant what we do for living, but rather the common will to help and to serve others. At the same time it is enriching our lives and knowledge to know many people with diverse backgrounds. Additionally, there are some features that we have in common, such as open-mindedness, good sense of humour and flexibility to work together.
