Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world every day because they share a core belief – to serve their community. Lions clubs conduct local service projects that benefit youth, the disabled, public safety and the environment. Club members identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs. Whenever a Lions club gets together, problems get smaller and communities get better. That's because we help where help is needed - in our own communities and around the world, with unmatched integrity and energy. For over 90 years, whenever there is a need at home or around the world, Lions members are there to help. We get the job done and we have fun doing it!
As a Lion, you will make life better for others while enriching your own life in the process. Lions clubs offer an opportunity to help people, broaden your horizons and fulfill your goals. As a member of the world's largest service club organization, you have an amazing spectrum of opportunities to learn and grow while serving locally and internationally .
To become a Lion is to become an active volunteer, a member of a respected organization, a leader in your community and a friend to people in need.
Hernando Branch Lions Club is part of Lions Clubs International which is nearly 45,000 clubs strong.
As a Lion, you can make a difference!

Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.
