Lions Club of Singapore (Host)
Brief History
Lions Club of Singapore (Host) is the 1st Lions Club chartered on November 5, 1958.in Multiple District 308 (Brunei/Malaysia/Singapore ). Over the years, the clubis privileged and proud to have served and made contributions to our community. The club is fortunate to be led by outstanding Lion leaders and members,whose names are listed in our Club's Rolls of Honour.
Our Club Members meet twice monthly on the 2nd Thursday and 4th Thursday at 1930 hrs through 2200hrs at Hotel Royal Queen Street.
Our fund Raising Projects & Services Activities include
- Lions Home for the Elders-support and participate in the Home projects & activities
- Lions Befrienders-supports and participate in the Lions Befrienders projects & activities
- Lions Flag Day-support and participate in the annual event
- Lions Carollers-singing carols during the christmas festive season to cheer and raise funds for the needy.
- Annually club Golf challenge-organised annually fund raising golf event
- Children Day Party-organised annually to entertain the under-privileged children from various homes
- Sight Conversation-bridging eye cornea requirements in singapore with Lions SaveSight center
- Blood Donation Campaign-organised an annual event to collect blood for the Singapore Blood Bank.
