The Hutchinson Noon Lions Club was chartered Saturday May 2, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church in Hutchinson, Kansas.  The Charter evening was sponsored by the Hutchinson Breakfast Lions Club.  Lion Melvin Barnett served as the toastmaster for the evening.  There were 26 members who signed the charter.

The first meeting of the Hutchinson Noon Lions Club was May 6, 2009 at 12 noon at Penwell Gable Funeral Home Community Room.  Club meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at noon in the same location.  The first Board of Directors meeting was held May 11, 2009 at Bell Credit Union.  Board meetings are held the 2nd Monday of each month at 5:30 pm.
