CLUB PROJECTS

Our permanent projects are-

1.Lions Club Sewa Sadan(OUR SIGNATURE PROJECT)

To fulfill the commitment of "WE SERVE" we started construction of Lions Club Sewa Sadan in 1988. The ground floor was completed and inaugurated on 24.06.1990. First floor was completed in 1993. Second floor with a big hall was constructed in 2003.

              This building is centre of our service activities. We are conducting charitable Homeopathic Dispensary,Ladies sewing Training Centre,Yoga Camp etc in this building.Besides this, building is used for club meeting,social gatherings etc.

2.Charitable Homeopathic dispensary

Every sunday we conduct a homeopathic clinic in which patients from remote areas come for treatment of chronic diseases.This dispensary is run by Ln. Ashok Kumar Gupta. About 18,000 patients are treated per year in this dispensary.

3.Child Immunization Centre

We conduct Child Immunization Camp every month on 14th where children are vaccinated against Polio,DPT,BCG,Measels etc.

4.Yoga Camp

10 members of our club are trained yoga teacher from "PATANJALI YOGPEETH". We conduct a yoga camp daily in which about 30-40 people practice yoga.

5.Ladies Sewing Training Centre-

Isri Bazar is a small town where most of the people belongs to middle class family. To provide employment/earning for ladies, we conduct a Ladies Sewing Training Centre in which 40 ladies get tailoring/embroidary training to earn their livelihood.

6.Cataract Surgery

We the lions are known worldwide as "KNIGHTS OF THE BLIND" because of our popular Sight First programme. After screening the patients of cataract at Lions Club Sewa Sadan,we got operated them at Maturam Eye Hospital,Govindpur.

                     Apart from these we have number of projects like Multiple Health Check-Up camps in school/village, Diabetes Detection Centre, Free Oxyzen Service, Ambulance Service, Quiz and Debate Competition, Blanket Distribution amongst poor, Blood Donation Camp etc.
