The Jacksonville Lions Club conducts the following fundraisers each year: Bi-annual rummage sale, Golf Tournament,Pancake Breakfast, and Golf Ball Drop

We participate in the annual Clean-up Jacksonville Day, The Wing Ding Festival, and the Christmas Parade.

Funds ($7,269 in 2008-2009) from our fund raisers went to:

• Provide eye exams and glasses for school children and elderly individuals, in the Jacksonville area, that otherwise could not afford them.
• Support Lions World Services for the Blind.
• Support Mid-South Lions Sight and Hearing Services.
• Support local youth activities; i.e., Scholarships, Girls and Boys Club, Girls and Boys Leo Clubs, a youth baseball team, assist individual young people in need, etc.
• Support other activities, within the community, as needs arise and when funds are available.
