Jonesboro 6th grader Ava Inman happily holds her peace poster, which won first place on November 9thin her school’s 2018-2019 Lions International Peace Poster Contest, sponsored by the Jonesboro University Heights Lions Club. In addition to a certificate, Ava received $50 from the club for winning the contest.  Standing next to her is Ridgefield Christian School’s art teacher Rosina Flemon. Peace Poster Awards: The last Peace Poster award program was held at Valley View Intermediate School on Monday December 3, 2018. Jeannie Archer was the first-place winner and also won third place in the District 7-O competition. District 7-O Peace Poster Winner
