Eye TissueTransporters- We are 1of the 7 clubs who make up the Fox Valley Area transporter group. We have 3 dispatchers and 20 members who transport tissue from the Fox Valley  area hospitals to a drop off point in Fond du Lac on their way to the Eye Bank in Madison along with transporting tissue back to the area eye surgery centers for transplants.                                                                       

Build wheelchair ramps for the area handicapped.

Participate and fund the cost for community diabetic screening twice a year at St.Paul Elder Services, a local nursing home ,along with blood pressure tests and flu shots given in the fall. 

Hold monthly bingo games with elderly residents at the local nursing home along with providing cash prizes.

Collect used eyeglasses and hearing aids from throughout the community and deliver them for processing at the Eyeglass Recyling Center located at the Wisconsin Lions Camp in Rosholt Wisconsin.

Built a park shelter at the Disc Golf Park located in the city.

Have a yearly golf tournament with proceeds going toward sponsoring wishes for the "Make a Wish Foundation".

Hold a yearly fishing derby for area children, "Lil Anglers" along with lunch and prizes for all the participants.

Sponsor 2 baseball teams (boys&girls) in the city summer recreation league.

Purchase swimming pool passes for needy children in the community.

The Lions & Leo club members team up  together to build and enter a float in the Annual City Christmas Parade.

At Christmas we are involved with "The Adopt a Family", a program that helps needy families in making their Christmas a happier time.
