The Kempsville Lions Club held its 3rd Annual Frosty 5K Run on January 12, 2013 at our NEW venue - The SportsPlex in Virginia Beach. The weather had been cold, but for this one day the weather was unseasonably warm with mist lingering in the air.
We opened the Frosty 5K at our new venue - the SportsPlex in Virginia Beach. We were psyched about the new location. The other runs we held were at Mt. Trashmore in Virginia Beach, and were freezing with a strong wind. When runner's were polled after the race, they loved the new location and the race.

Overall the event was a huge success. We look forward to seeing you all for our 2014 Run. Thanks to ALL for supporting our 3rd Annual Frosty 5K Run and making it a success.
