On Saturday 24th, 2018, club members met at the Sion Hill Clinic to distribute our 'Love Packages', which contain food items and toiletries. Although each year we mainly focus on the older indigent persons, this year we also embraced several single mothers.

District Governor Lion Sherwin Greenidge visited an important environmental project at the Bishops College. There he witnessed the handing over of agricultural implements to Form 1 Agriculture students by our Lion President.  This was done in the presence of the agricuture teacher at the school, the principal, Leo President and other Lions.

The Lions Club Kingstown - SVG hosted its annual Christmas Luncheon for visually impaired persons on Thursday 14th December, 2017. The event was once again successful with approximately fifty guest in attendance.


Our Lions lent a hand to the Diabetes Association to commemorate World Diabetes Day, 14th November, 2017. Diabetes Testing was done, along with the distribution of printed material pertinent to the heath of diabetics. A nutritionist was also on hand to provide information on proper eating habits.




Kingstown-SVG Lions Club followed up on World Food Day with a visit to Michelle's Day Care and Pre-school to make a presentation on Healthy Eating.

Two representatives of firms, which have collaborated with our club projects over the years, have been duly recognized. They are Beacon Insurances, represented by its manager Mr. Keith Boyea and Sailor Cycle Centre - Mr. Trevor Bailey manager, represented by his son. Both honourees received appropriately engraved plaques reflecting the Club's highest commendation.

The Annual Club Retreat of Lion Club Kingstown-SVG was held at Haddon Hotel in Kingstown this year.  Close to twenty members were in attendance and from all reports had an enjoyable and lionistic rewarding experience.
