The Lake of the Woods Lions Club is located in a recreational community in the Eastern end of Orange County, Virginia. We are located on Route 3 between Fredericksburg and Culpeper. Our club was chartered in September 1982. Our membership at this time is 84 members. In 2017 we celebrated 35 years of service to Lake of the Woods and Orange County.

On Saturday, October 6 the LOW Lions Club will donate 100% of the proceeds from our weekly yard sale to support Lions Club International Foundation’s humanitarian sight programs. LCIF’s vision programs fight preventable blindness and eye diseases in poor nations. Plan now to shop or make a donation on World Relief Saturday. You can make a difference in someone’s life!

Your Donations Help the LOW Lions Serve Our Community

LOW Lions Collect donations of Furniture and Household Goods on Tuesday and Friday mornings starting at 9:00-11:00 AM (weather permitting). To schedule a pick up please contact Lion Cindy Quattlebaum at or call 540-972-1187. You can also bring your donations to the Velona Building located by the LOW trash compactor on Saturday mornings between 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM. Items we are unable to accept include clothing, bedding, mattresses or items in unuseable condition.

Come check out the yard sale Saturdays 9 AM till Noon at the Velona Building (adjacent to the trash compactor/recycling area).

Now collecting food and cash donations for the Wilderness Food Pantry at the Lions Yard Sale! Please bring your donations of non-perishable food items to the donation box inside the Velona Building during the sale hours. Thank You!
