MEET THE LIONS
Come along to ASDA on Saturday and Sunday 16th, 17th and 23rd and 24th August where you can meet members and supporters of your Lions Club. Find out what we do, how we go about fundraising and where you might fit in to the Club.
There are two Lions Charity Shops in Lancing, both in Station Parade opposite the signal box. A wide range of goods - clothing, shoes & bags, bric-a-brac and CD/DVDs in the first and good quality furniture, soft furnishings and electrical items in the other.
In season we stock a wide range of well-established plants from a local nursery.
Fancy a fruit cake? Look no further than Shop 1 where a variety of hand-finished, quality cakes are available at competitive prices.
If you can't get to ASDA in August come along to our stall at Worthing Sea Front Festival on July 27th or drop in to the shop and have a chat.
Lancing & Sompting Lions Club was established over thirty years ago. In that period many people and groups have benefitted from the support given. The Lions motto is We Serve. We support the elderly by giving a Christmas party, a summer cream tea, school children have been supported in their trips abroad, books and other materials. Young adults by grants and backing for a variety of activities. We provide nebulisers on a doctors prescription, hampers for the needy and collect spectacles for refurbishment for developing countries.
