The Lansing Lions Club was sponsored by the Hammond Lions Club in 1937 and has since sponsored eight other clubs; Calumet City (1939),Harvey (1946), South Holland (1946), Chicago East Side (1948), Homewood (1948), Chicago Hegewisch (1962), Lynwood (1974), Sauk Village (2004) and Flossmoor Roshni (The Light) (2009).
We are the Home Club of two Past District Governors, Lion William Last Sr. (1964-65) and Lion Ken Straka (Pictured Above) (1977-78).
We have Five Life Members and Thirty-Five Melvin Jones Fellows in our club.
We are active members of the Lansing Chamber of Commerce
Our Annual Golf Outing was held on Saturday August 27, 2011 at the Lansing Country Club.

Our Annual Candy Day Fundraiser is scheduled for 2nd Friday, October 14, 2011. We will be on major street corners along Ridge Road in force, collecting money to help the blind and handing out candy.
