What is a Lion?

A Lathrup Village Lion is a member of your community dedicated to the motto "WE SERVE" 

We are men and women of every walk of life dedicated to making a difference in our community, because we know we can and have seen the very real benefits of service to and within our community. "WE SERVE" as LIONS to support activities that help members of our community.   

The Lathrup Village Lions Club is part of Lions Clubs International, the largest service club organization in the world. Lathrup Village Lions volunteer in many capacities such as organizing diabetes education workshops, packaging food at a local food bank, making face masks, collecting and recycling used eyeglasses and hearing aids, and other community activities. We are always happy to welcome new members from any community

The Lathrup Village Lions Club raises and distributes funds to support local charities including Leader Dogs for the Blind, the Penrickton Center for Blind Children, JDRF, Eversight, Lions Visually Impaired Youth Camp (Bear Lake Camp) and Lions Project KidSight.
 
All of the money raised will be distributed to charitable organizations. Lathrup Village Lions Club Charities Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.

Chartered in 1957, the Lathrup Village Lions Club has helped support the following Local Charities and Activities:
