• Eddie Eyeglass program for 2^nd graders April 08 and October 08.
• Good Program:  honored students in grades 6^th – 12^th. Program held in April of each year.  Certificates, tee-shirt, and letter of recommendation given to student at Lions meeting.
• Fruit baskets given to Lion widows at Christmas time
• Kamp Dovetail volunteer workers for week. 
• Five members serve on Eye Express Team
• Pop cans collected for VA Memorial
• Glow bracelets given to children at Halloween.  Joined with Village Police department at combined program at school.
• Served annual dinner for Veterans
• Food donation given to homeless shelter
• Food donation given to Methodist church food bank
• 5-K Run during Leesburg Festival
• Lemon Shake-up at Highland Festival
• Food booth at Draft Horse Show
• Annual Luminaria Night in Leesburg.  Candle kit sold at cost.  Contests for King and Queen Essay Contest, downtown open businesses, Santa for children at post office, and combined church service all sponsored by Lions.
• District Golf Tournament sent a team.
• Mint boxes placed in downtown businesses
• Used eye glass boxes placed at banks, post office and library
• Selling coloring books
• Peace Poster contest held at Fairfield school with 59 entries.  Winner came in 2^nd in district.

 Donations to community:

• Scholarship of $500 given to 12^th grade student who was chosen by their teachers for the Good Student award.
•  5-K run with proceeds given to family whose father had died from cancer.  $1000.00
