Meetings

 Lion Ron

• The annual Christmas Dinner meeting has arrived.  December 16.  You should have contacted Lion Ron with your menu choice:  Filet Mignon, Prime Rib or Salmon.  We meet at the Branding Iron again this year at 6:30 pm.  Live musical entertainment will be offered by a Barber Shop Quartet during the meal.  After dinner we will have our spectacular "gift exchange."  Probably too much excitement for one evening.  Gift values should be between $10 and $15.

• Our new sound system has arrived.  We will debut it at our Club Student Speaker Contest next month.  The rules stipulate that a microphone must be offered.  Of course we will need this for our annual auctions and club meetings.

• Club meetings will provide an opportunity to order or buy Lions printed shirts, hats and vests.  Bring your checkbook or cash.

• The club Student Speaker Contest will be the program for our January 20 meeting.

• The February 17 meeting will feature Monica Bianchi on our club program.  She traveled somewhere last summer and the story is rumored to be incredible.

• The March 17 meeting features Lion Gail O'Wills and his annual Corn Beef and Cabbage dinner.  Lion Jill Loving will tell us about Camp Pacifica.

• In April we will receive the nominations for our club officers.  In May we will have club elections and in June we will have our installation night meeting at Fernando's Bistro in Merced.
