          The Leonardtown Lions are proud to be a part of the world's largest service organization, Lions International, and we have been a chartered Maryland Lions Club since 1940. The Leonardtown Lions provide vision and medical screening, vision health support, hearing aid support, and a large variety of other services to the community.
       
       
   We are also proud of the fact that 100% of all proceeds from all of our fund raising events go to these services.
 
        The Leonardtown Lions Club actively supports community functions and charitable organizations, including:

Lions Camp Merrick -summer camp for children
Vision testing and eye glasses for the needy
Leader eye dogs for the visually impaired or blind
Used eye glasses and hearing aid collections 
 Lions Vision Research Foundation -Wilmer Eye Institute
Hospice of St. Mary's
Leonardtown Volunteer Fire Department
Leonardtown Volunteer Rescue Squad
Health Share of St. Mary's County
College scholarships for local students
Fire and Rescue Appreciation Day
The St. Mary’s County Memorial Committee and War Memorials in the Leonardtown Square
Vision and Hearing Screening for Students
