About Lewes Lions.
Lewes Lions Club was started in 1971 by a group of local people wanting to serve their local and wider community.
Our club is a registered charity (no. 1065869/0) and, by means of the proceeds from events such as our annual 'Toad In The Hole' Competition, Christmas Concert given by the LGB Brass, Santa at Lewes Garden Centre,Street Collections we provided help and assistance to persons in need and other voluntary groups in the community.
The number of club members fluctuates but is currently 13, one of whom is an original founder member having served his community for over 40 years!!!
To enable us to contnue with the good work the club has done in the past, we are looking for community minded people to join us, take a look at our membership page.
Who Do We Help?
Youth Groups

What Are Our Aims?
Give something back to our Community.
Meet like minded people and enjoy an active social life.
The club is totally democratic and autonomous in that we decide how we raise and spend our funds.
We have no Political, Business or Religious ties.
