LINCOLN BETHANY LIONS CLUB
The meeting was opened at 6:30 by Lion President Tammy with 10 Lions present: Mike Hausmann, Ted Vorhies, Jack Kirkland, Jim Sargent, Armin Vogt, Tammy Lange, John Lange, Harold Baker, Richard Markland., and Russ Quinn. This was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance, Invocation and Singing lead by Lion Jim.
Following the meal our speaker was Ron Hull who spoke to us on the History of Nebraska Educational TV. The TV program was stared in 1953 and Ron became a part of the staff in 1955 and continues on the staff. Over 1 million people watch NET Television each week. Nebraska has one of the best programs in the nation.
Minutes of the last meeting were approved.
Lion Jack, the tail twister, informed us we would need to pay a double fine at our next meeting if we were not wearing our Lions vest or other Lion symbols.
Pot of Gold was won by Lion Tammy.
