The Lindsay East and District Lions Club came to be when 5 like minded people who were Lions in another club decided they wanted to do more for their community and set about talking with their friends, neighbours an even former Lions who were wanting to also help their community. The town of Lindsay has grown over the last 64 years since the Lindsay Lions was chartered so what better way the help our fellow club than by establishing another club which will benefit the needs of a growing community.

Our Club was Chartered on March 30th 2017 and our charter celebration was held on May 27th 2017

Since that time the club has been actively involved in many community events including Classics on Kent held in July 2017 were we had a Kids Zone booth featuring face painting and a duck pond. We have partnered with several organizations including the Kawartha Lakes Food Source providing help for 3 of their food drives. As well as the local Art Gallery promoting their Kawartha Palozza Art festival for August 2018 and helping them along with the Historical Society when they were able to get the Stanley Cup brought to Lindsay providing refeshments and crowd contol for those who came to view the cup. As of January 2018 the club has been busy with our first Spaghetti Dinner which will be held on a monthly basis throughout the year with the exception of December. We have some other exciting fundraisers coming up so please stay tuned.

We look forward to serving our community.
