POP TABS for DOG GUIDES

Over the years the Lindsay Lions Club has collected pop tabs to provide wheelchairs, assistive devices and surgical instruments for the ophthalmology department at The Ross memorial Hospital.

With more Service Dogs being introduced into the school system, most notable Autism Assistance and Diabetic Alert, and following discussions with staff at the schools that we pick up tabs from in the City of Kawartha Lakes it was decided to redirect the funds from the pop tab program to Lions Foundation of Canada for the training of Guide Dogs in the name of “The Elementary School Children of the City of Kawartha Lakes”.

If your club is interested in expanding this project within your area, we would be please to assist you.
