The Lions Club of Llandudno have over many years been associated with many local charities, groups and good causes. This page will build up a list of those groups we are association with.
We will gladly publicise their activities and events. As the Lions is a service organisation we should help in anyway we can to support local cauases. This can be through donnations, manpower, or publicity.
This is a charity for "sick, disabled and disadvantaged children who live in the North Wales area". The Lions have made donnations to this club on many occations and have held joint fund raising events.
Lions Clubs of Britain and Ireland have a partnership with Marie Curie and join together on various campaigns. We became offical collecting partner for their Great Daffodil Appeal in 2013.
The town of Llandudno is very proud to be home to one of Blind Vetrans UK (formerly known as St Dunstan’s) centres. Lions clubs across the UK have made donnations to the Llandudno centre during its restoration. The building known in the town as Lady Forrester was bought by St Dunstan's and officially opened in 2011.
