History of Lynden Lions

Our club received its charter from Lions International on March 7 , 1957 and has been in continuous service to the community since that time.

Our Mission

To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote global understanding through our Lions Club's activities.

There are over 48,000 Lions Clubs around the globe.  Together we can make a huge  impact on the world as we see it!   Locally we are improving the lives of those in our communities through programs for the youth, the elderly, those in need and all other segments of society

Location

We are fortunate to have a permenant site to hold our meetings and many of our activities.  It is commonly refered to as the

" LIONS DEN "

We have erected a pavillion behind the Lions Den for  public use and special events.  A Lions bench was also installed at the main ball diamond, with more to come!

Another playground is in the planning stage to provide entertainment for youngsters near the rear ball diamond !
