Welcome to the Lions Club Maastricht Mondial!

The Lion’s Club Maastricht Mondial (LCMM), is a very special Lion’s Club. The club is English-speaking and mixed, making it very unique in the Netherlands. 

The Club was founded in 1994 as a point of contact for expatriate executives and professionals working at the growing number of international companies in the Maastricht area. Like all Lions Clubs, the members also spend a lot of time and effort supporting local and international charity projects.

LCMM understands that living and working in a culture outside of your own is often not easy. As a primary mission, LCMM strives to provide meaningful opportunities for 'internationals' to meet and mingle with each other, often while supporting local charity.

The club presently numbers some 20 members of 11 different nationalities. Approximately half of its members are Dutch nationals, ensuring that there is a broad base of communication between expatriates and the local community within the club. 

LCMM's main fundraiser each year is its MayFair, an annual event where the club invites other internationals and their families to meet, mingle and enjoy a fun afternoon of entertainment, information and hospitality at a location in the Euregio. The club enjoys sponsorship by a number of local communities, organisations and companies, which makes this event possible.
