FIRST PROJECT: 09/07/09

HELPING POOR CHILDREN FOR THEIR STUDIES

Our Club Installation & Induction of new office bearers for the Lionistic year 2009 - 2010 held on 09/07/09 at Hotel QUALITY INN SABARI @ 7.30PM.  We have also introduced three Lion members to our club. The function end with a project by helping two school children for their Annual School tuition fee.

ISSUING OF SHOES AND SOCKS TO SCHOOL CHILDREN

Our club has issued shoes and socks to the needy children of Sri Karpagavalli Middle School , Mylapore. The function was graced by our Honourable district governor Ln.Dr.Annamalai.

THIRD PROJECT: 15/08/09

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS AT AKSHYA TRUST

We have celebrated our Independence day with the inmates of OLD AGE HOME  @ "AKSHYA TRUST" run by our Great Lion.G.Gopalan. We celebrated the function with a formal Flag Hoisting & a Coffee. Our club gave a cheque of Rs.4000 for the welfare of the old people at Akshya Trust.

FOURTH PROJECT: 19/08/09

MEDICAL CHECK UP & SWINE FLU AWARNESS CAMP

We Conducted  a Medical check up and Swine flu awarness program to the School children ( 130 Children ) of SRI KARPAGAVALLI MIDDLE SCHOOL, by our Ln.Dr.Ganesh & Ln,Dr.Raveendran.

FIFTH PROJECT :23/09/09

HONOURING GENUINE AUTO DRIVERS

We had our club family meeting @ HOTEL QUALITY INN SABARI with VENKY & MONKEY. We have also, Honoured the genuine auto drivers who have handed over the left out valuables in their autos to the owners/Police department.

SIXTH PROJECT : 24/10/09

TREE PLANTATION

The Tree plantation project is scheduled on 24/10/09 at SRI MUTHUKUMARAN COLLEGE CAMPUS. The variety of minimum of 100 Nos of trees will be planted to address the Alarming Global Warming as well the plants will be watered, safe guarded and fertilized till it grow as tree........................
