Manchester Shortsville (MS) Lions Club

In 1980, eighteen caring and ambitious ladies organized the Shortsville Manchester Lioness Club. The club was certified on February 26, 1981 by the Lions Club International with the Twin Cities Lions Club as our sponsor.  On May 12, 2000, we were chartered by the Lions Club International as the Manchester Shortsville (MS) Lions Club with the Twin Cities Lions Club again acting as our sponsor.  We were chartered with 26 caring and active members wanting to serve our community.

We meet the third Wednesday of each month from September to June for a dinner meeting followed by business and fellowship.  We hold committee and board meetings frequently as needed.

In closing, we totally believe in what we are doing.  We are constantly striving to find new projects and new members to help us in carrying out our projects.    “Service is the rent we pay for our time on earth.”
