The Manchester Lions Club conferred its highest honor, a Melvin Jones Fellowship, on longtime Lion George Williams at a recent meeting. George has been a Manchester Lion for over 30 years and has continually served the Northshire community in numerous capacities. Past International Director Tom Broughton and local president Pam Nichols listed and praised George’s many accomplishments. Lions International is the world’s largest service organization with 1.35 million members in over 200 countries around the world.
