Manhattan Lions Club Inducts New Member
Lion President Jeff Wolfe congratulates Richard Wilkey along with sponsor John Pehle
On November 10, 2010, the Manhattan Lions Club inducted Richard Wilkie as our newest member.
Rich is a long-time Lincoln-Way School District employee, and he is presently assigned as the assistant director of buildings and grounds for the school system. He grew up in the area and attended Rich South High School; his hobbies include coaching baseball and soccer, fishing, woodworking and he likes to tinker with old cars. Rich and his wife Kathleen have lived in Manhattan for seventeen years and they have six children: Seth, Clay, Josh, Caleb, Catlin, and Jonathon.
Rich’s Lions Club sponsor, John Pehle says, “Rich is a great guy. He is compassionate and has great integrity…he also knows how to work hard, and will make a good Lion.”
As the Lions say, it’s GRRREAT to have you in the club Rich!
