"We Serve"  The Manistee Area
About Our Club
Est. 1957

Manistee Lions was chartered in 1957, with a membership of 25.  Our membership is currently at 18 service minded men and women from around the community.  Members consist of men and women of various ages and come from different walks of life, gathering together to serve the community. Are you interested in helping within the community?  We would love to have you as a member of our club. We await your contact and look forward to welcoming you into the fold, because with new members comes new ideas.

The Manistee Lions meet the second Wednesday of each month, April thru November at the Lions Den, 1037 Preuss Rd or at the Lions Pavilion at First Street Beach in Manistee, MI.  January, February, March, November and December  we meet at the American Legion Post #10. Our meetings begin at 6:00 pm and usually last 1 1/2 hours.  We have a meal prepared by Lion members, a business meeting, and occasionally a program.  On our special nights spouses and guests are invited. Therefore, it is not uncommon to see some of these people helping at our various functions.

All funds raised by Manistee Lions support International, State and Community services.
