LIONS CLUB OF MARCELA INSTALLATION CEREMONY

The Installation ceremony of Lions Club of Marcela was held on 11th April 2010 at Graceland, Marcela. Guiding Lion, Lion Abdullah Khan has played the lead role in formation of this club. The office bearers were appointed under the charter president Lion Gajanan Parab.

The function started with a sweet song sung by Miss Asmin Khan  "e malik tere bandhe hum".

To mark the Charter presentation Ceremony of Lions Club of Marcela, present with us were very special and prominent personalities. They are our District Governor MJF Lion Dr. Madhava Shetty, our Past District Governor, MJF Lion Dominic Rodrigues, as Induction Officer, Our First Vice District Governor, MJF Lion Nitin Maganlal, as Installation Officer, and very special and powerful political personalities such as Shri. Deepak Dhavlikar, Honorable MLA of Priol Constituency and Shri Pratap P Gawas, Honorable MLA of Pale constituency and many more invited guests. Lion Sushant Pokle Presdient Lions Club of Sankhalim called the meeting to order & welcomed the guests. Lion Vinod Gadgil introduced the chief guest & Lion Manoj Ghadi introduced the Guest of honour.

Lion MJF Dominic Rodrigues inducted the new members. First Vice District Governor, Lion Nitin Maganlal installed the new Board of Directors. District Governor Lion Dr. Madhava Shetty presented the charter to the President of our club. Shri. Deepak Dhavlikar honorable MLA of Priol Constituency and Shri Pratap P Gawas, honorable MLA of Pale constituency spoke on the occassion. Charter President, Lion Gajanan Parab addressed the meeting with his few words. The Regional Chairperson & Zone Chairperson were felicited by Guiding Lion, Lion Abdullah Khan. Secretary Lion Mahesh Mahajan proposed the vote of thanks. President Lion Gajanan Parab adjourned the meeting for fellowship and dinner.
