The Marina Lions Club is located in Marina, California, approximately ten miles north of Monterey. Our club was chartered in 1984. We currently meet at 7:00 pm the first and third Wednesday of the month in the back room of Ho Wa Restaurant at 3116 Del Monte Blvd.
We always welcome new members with new ideas. What is your passion? What project would you like to see added to our list?  We would love to hear your ideas and would love to introduce you to the Lions. If interested in becoming a Lion, or getting more information on Marina Lions contact us at 831-383-1323 or (831) 204-8280
We are a small but active club and support the local community. One hundred percent of funds raised go back to the community. Our largest fundraiser is our annual Crackin for a Cause Cajun Style Lobster Boil held each January.
Some of our community projects include:
·         Volunteer time to distribute food at the Thomas Carman Food Pantry
·         Financial support to Canine Companions.
·         Financial support to the Blind and Visually Impaired Center in Pacific Grove.
·         Provide eye exams and glasses to Marina residents who cannot afford them.
·         Support Special Olympics Softball on the Monterey Peninsula
·         Provide a safe alternative to Trick or Treating with Trunk or Treat at the Community Center.
·         Sponsor the annual Marina Easter egg hunt.  Provide 6000 eggs for the kids.
·         Provide new science equipment/supplies to Marina High School.
·         Financial support to Marina Youth Arts.
·         Provide new books to Marina High School Library.
·         Sponsor an annual Student Speakers Contest.
·         Sponsor an annual Peace Poster Contest.
·         Financial support to Marina Police Activities League (PAL).
Yours in Lionism,
Mark Arellano, Pres. Marina Lions
