Martisco Lions takes it name from the communities it serves: The Town and Village of Marcellus and the area surrounding Otisco Lake in Central New York State, South-west of Syracuse.

We were founded in 1973, and serve the people and organizations within the fire districts of Amber, Borodino, Marcellus, Navarino, Otisco and Spafford.

We provide eye exams and glasses for those who need help.

We provide vision testing through the Lions SEE program at our summer Duck Race fundraiser.

We clean 2 miles of Route 174, maintain an athletic field at our property on Otisco Valley Road in Marietta.

Martisco Lions has X-Mas parties for Marcellus Senior Homes with gift bags decorated by Marcellus Elementary school art classes. 

We have provided funding for Canine Working Companions, Homes for the Troops, fire and accident victims.

We help stock local food pantries.

We donate to Syracuse Childrens Hospital, the Marcellus Seniors After The Ball party, Missing and Exploited Children.

We provide scholarships for Marcellus School Seniors.

In the three years 2008 through 2010 we donated over $33,000 to the community.
