2024 Project:

- Renovation of the entrance to our clubhouse. With a new American Flag flying on the flagpole, we want to enhance the garden below and update the fencing.

- Along with other community groups, our club is involved in supporting a Beautification Project in the Village of Marcellus. Baskets of flowers will be hanging in the village this spring for us all to enjoy.

Ongoing Projects:

- A trip to Camp Badger in Spencer, NY where we maintain Cabin # 9       "The Library". Camp Badger is a summer camp that serves physically and visually impaired children, and Veterans with PTSD.  This year will include a bit of cleaning and painting to get it in good shape for the campers.

- At Christmas, we have our Senior Christmas Celebration by offering refreshments, gifts & caroling, complete with Santa.

- One of our ongoing projects includes collecting roadside trash on a 2-mile section of Route 174 (Otisco Valley Road) from Route 20 south to the Otisco Lake dam, each Spring and Fall.  

We easily collect about 200 pounds of trash, which goes to the Onondaga County Resource Recovery Agency (OCRRA) for sorting, recycling and disposal.

Bottle & Can collection and redemption. As a fundraiser, we collect cans at the T&T Redemption Center, across from Sissy's Pizza in Amber.

Eye glass collection - we collect used eye glasses and hearing aids. The glasses are refurbished by Lions Club International and distributed around the world to individules in need. Collection Boxes are located in the Library, The Marcellus Town Hall, and at the Marietta Post Office.
