The Mauna Kea Lions Club is a service organization that is located in Hilo, Hawaii.  We are a part of the worldwide service organization Lions Club International.  We are composed of college students and adult members who are interested in making a difference in their community.

Some of the projects that we've done this past year are canned food donations to the food bank, vision screening at elementary schools, free vision services for the needy, eyeglass recycling, and Easter baskets for the children at the Domestic Abuse shelter.  We also have made donations to youth programs such as the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of Hilo, as well as the Special Olympic athletes of East Hawaii.

If you are interested in learning more, please contact us or come to one of our general membership meetings!
