When you look around, no matter where you are, you see people of all sizes and ages wearing glasses. Many of them have been served by Lions vision programs. We're proud to say that we've had a profound impact on so many lives by providing the gift of clear vision to those in need. Imagine what a gift it is being able to read and complete a job application, a letter from a friend or to see clearly the face of a loved one.
The Mid-Valley Lions Club is based in Corvallis, Oregon and includes a diverse membership from Albany, Corvallis, Philomath and Salem. All of our fundraising dollars provide vision, hearing, health screenings and referral services to our Mid-Valley neighbors in need. In addition we proudly support local, state, regional and international Lions service projects including:
- Youth Mentoring
- American Flags for First Graders
- Oregon Eye Bank
- Eye surgeries
- Summer Camp for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Youth
- Diabetes Camp for Children
- Eyeglass recycling
- Disaster relief efforts in the US and globally
