The Millard Lions Club hosted it's 23rd Annual Bartels-Nelson Memorial Golf Classic on Monday, June 12, 2023 at Oak Hills Country Club in Omaha.

This year's golf classic raised just over $5,100.00 for the programs of the Millard Lions Foundation, for its service programs.  Programs include Millard's KidSight Nebraska preschool vision screenings, providing eye exams and glasses for those in need, assistance with medical needs and community betterment. 

This is the scoring results report of the Golf Committee.  

1st Flight / 1st Place:  Nick Onken, Chris Williamson, Paul Andersen & Bo Krivohlavek, Score:  20 under par, 51, $45 pro shop gift certificate each

1st Flight / 2nd Place: John Kamp, Cameron Derry, Jim Emmanuel & K. Derry, Score 19 under par 52, $35 pro shop gift certificate each.

1st Flight / 3rd Place: Jeff Sinnett, Paul Sinnett, Gary Nolting & Rick Kappius, Score 17 under par 54, $25 pro shop gift certificate each

No Scorecard Playoffs in 1st Flight This year

2nd Flight / 1st Place:  Jim De Sordi, Andy Chleborad, Gary Novak & Tony Jinoin.  Score 7 under Par 64, $45 pro shop gift certificate each.

2nd Flight / 2nd Place: Larry Bartels, Gerry Reinsch, Jim Pine & Bill Naprstek.  Score 6 under Par 65, $35 pro shop gift certificate each.

3rd Flight / 3rd Place:  Greg Tiemann, Mark Hawkins, Lance Smith & Casey Lundgren.  Score 4 under Par 67, $25 pro shop gift certificate each.  This was a Scorecard Playoff over a tie with Allen Darell, Terry Andersen, Robert Swan and Ron Heinrich.

Next year the 24th Annual Bartels-Nelson Memorial Golf Classic will be Monday, June 10, 2023 at the Oak Hills Country Club in Millard.
