LION'S Club International
"WE SERVE"
We are uniquely situated in the middle of the Bedford County/Smith Mountain Lake communities. This year marks our 20th year of service to our community, Commonwealth and Nation. While we have our own projects, we often share events with sister clubs in Franklin and Bedford counties.
We welcome both men and women, we have about a 50/50 mix. Our members have many varied backgrounds and interests, some are retired, some still are employed. Our projects enable all to contribute in time and talents. One of our goals this year is to expand our service projects so we are asking each new member to bring with them a passion, an idea, a new way for us to serve the community.
The Moneta Lions play a vital role in this community.

MISSION STATEMENT
To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international cooperation.
Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.
