Meetings

The Morinville Lions Club was sponsored by the Edmonton Host Lions Club in April of 1949

We are the second oldest Club in this District.

We have chartered four other Lions Clubs and one Lioness Club.  The St. Albert Host in 1951, Clyde in 1953, Slave Lake in 1966, Westlock in 1982 and the Morinville Lioness Club.

We are proud to support: STARS Air Ambulance; the Food Bank; the Morinville Public Library; Citizen of the Year; the Splash Park in Morinville; School lunch program; Peace Poster Contest; Crime Stoppers; Camp He Ho Ha; Morinville Fire & Ambulance; Diabetes; Lions Park in Morinville; Can Tab Collection; Eye Glass & Cell Phone Recycling Programs; the Alberta Eye Bank; Partners in Independence, Lions Quest; LCIF; Campaign Sight First; and Canadian Blood Services.

We are now looking for new members to join our dynamic club! If you're interested in learning more, please contact our membership chairperson, Lion Colleen Turner at jmtinc@shaw.ca or morinvillelions@gmail.com.
