The Mossleigh Lions Club was sponsored by the Arrowwood Lions Club and Chartered in 1960.

For 50 years the club has been responsible for the development of the Lions Park In Mossleigh  as well as the ball diamond. Throughout the years these facilities have been expanded and improved.

The club actively donates funds to many organizations such as STARS, Vulcan Food Bank, Dog Guides of Canada, Lions International for their many relief and aid efforts. Individuals in the community in need have been assisted by donations of food, shelter and cash.

The club has donated and installed two defibrillator units in Mossleigh. A first response unit was donated to the Arrowwood Fire Department.

Many donations and work bees have been put towards Mossleigh Community Hall building and improvements over the years.
