Seminar on Literacy

On 07 Sep 2012 a Literacy Awareness Seminar was arranged at Munir Arshad Memorial School located in the Suburbs of Multan in the village. The students here are of the poor villagers who cannot afford education. They can now get the latest education because of this School. Many have passed in the Matriculation Exams in First Division. The School Principal Mrs. Shamim Saeed who is with this school from the very start is satisfied the way this school have improved the standards of Education. She started the Seminar as a Speaker and gave her Views regarding the improvement. Honorary Head Master gave his views. The School Administrator Maj. Gen. Wahid ud Din, Dr MJF Saeed Ahmad and VDG1 Saqib Raheem followed with their Views. It was a very informative Seminar.

Visit of Munir Arshad Memorial School Labor Mor Shujabad Road

Walk on Literacy Awareness

On 07 Sep 2012 a Literacy Awareness walk was arranged at Munir Arshad memorial School nearly 20 Kilometers from Multan at Labur MOR in the suburb of Multan. 12 Club Members along with VDG1 Lion Saqib Raheem participated along with the Students Boys and Girls.

Literacy Week Distribution of Uniforms

3 Sep 2012. In the start of Literacy Week, 10 Members along with the VDG 1 Lion Saqib Rahim visited Govt. Girls High School Chah Baharwala. The Members in the leadership of PMCC Lion Dr Saeed Ahmad and Club President Muhammad Iqbal Hanif Distributed 100 Sets of Uniforms to the deserving students of This School. Lion Muhammad Shakeel on behalf of Multan City Lions Club gave away 20 Sets of School Books to the deserving students of 5th & 8th Classes. Multan City Lions Club have always tried to fulfill the demands of the Principal in the Shape of Uniforms, Books, Eye Screening and help for the construction. Imm. Past President Lion Ch. Muhammad Afzal Sardar Funds for the construction of school Building with the amount of 1 One Karor and 50 Lakhs of Rs from the educational Grant from the Punjab Govt. He also arranged a Water Purification Plant with the cost of Rs 45 Lakhs, this Grant was from the Central Govt.

Free Medical Camp at Jalilabad Colony 28 Sep 2012

On 28th Sep Multan City Lions Club Sponsored Free Medical Camp at Kausar Masjid Chowk Jalil Abad. This Camp has been going on for the last 8 Years. This is our Permanent Project on every last Friday of the Month. We do different Free Tests here. This Camp was to be the 2nd Camp after the Holy Month of Ramadan, participation was fare. 25 Blood Cholostal Tests were done. On the BMD counter checked 55 patients. On the Blood Sugar Counter 85 Blood Sugar Tests were performed. On the Hepatitis counter 16 Patients were checked and precautionary injections were given to 4 patients.

On 14th Sep Multan City Lions Club Sponsored Free Medical Camp at Walayatabad Abad. This Camp has been going on for the last 10 Years. This is our Permanent Project on every 2nd Friday of the Month. We do different Free Tests here. This Camp was to be the First Camp after the Holy Month of Ramadan, participation was good. 35 Blood Cholostal Tests were performed On the BMD counter 58 patients were Checked On the Blood Sugar Counter 85 Blood Sugar Tests were conducted At the Hepatitis Counter 15 Patients were checked and 5 Precautionary Shots were injected. At the General Advice Counter PMCC Lion Dr Saeed Ahmad Checked 148 patients gave them Free Advice and Medicines.
