Meetings

Welcome from new Lions President Lisa Kline!

Lisa Kline PictureAs the new 2010-11 New Lenox Lions Club President, you’ll be happy to note that I’m a firm believer in our motto “We Serve.” During my 7 years of service with the Lions, I have had the opportunity to work with great former Presidents, as well as participate in fund raising activities and mission based initiatives. It’s this proud tradition of serving our community that most excites me about my new position, and I look forward to focusing on new ways to increase membership, involvement and fundraising activities.

New membership is a top priority for me. An organization is only as strong as its membership base; we have a rock-solid foundation with our current members. Of course, there’s no stronger advocate for our Club than our current members, and I’ll be relying on each of you to help us reach new goals! In addition to adding new members, I’m also looking for our current members to get involved more than ever before. Whether it’s developing new events, taking on new roles or participating in a different way, my goal is to make sure that our Club takes best advantage of its human resources.

Since our fundraising activities are always a top priority, you can look forward to the continuation of some of our most popular fundraisers including our Fall Candy Day, Fashion Show and our annual Blizzard Dance on November 20, 2010.

My personal motto for 2010-11 is “stay connected”. Whether you’re attending regular meetings, frequently visiting our website or participating in community events, our club is most successful when we work together towards a common goal and stay connected. I look forward to building those connections with each of you throughout my term and beyond.

Sincerely,
Lisa Kline, President
