In Remembrance

Boyd G. Ritchie

1939-2019

Lion Boyd G. Ritchie passed away on February 13, 2019. He was a member of Lions Clubs International for 52 years and served as president of the New Market Lions Club in 1969-70, 1979-80, 1997-98, 2003-04, 2013-14, and 2017-18. His dedication to upholding the Lions motto of “We Serve” was an inspiration to all. Rest in peace, Lion Boyd.

Services were conducted by Rev. Glen Turner on February 17, 2019, at Woods Chapel Independent Bible Church in New Market. Burial was in the Woods Chapel Cemetery.

The New Market Lions Club was organized  on April 29, 1958. It is one of more than  46,000 clubs comprising Lions Clubs International.
