The New Market Lions Club was chartered in June, 1958. It is one of the 45,000 clubs comprising Lions Clubs International. There are 1.35 million members in these clubs which are located in 206 countries throughout the world. The mission of the association is to serve in every way possible to foster a spirit of understanding, promote good government and citizenship, and take active interest in civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community.
