Welcome to the Nokesville Lions Club
P.O. Box 234, Nokesville, Virginia 20181
The Nokesville Lions Club is a service organization, chartered in western Prince William County, dedicated to improving our community. Through volunteer and fundraising activities we assist the visually and hearing impaired, sponsor youth programs, and provide support to the local community.

We raise funds to provide hearing and sight examinations, purchase eyeglasses and hearing aids, and assist in acquiring other sight and hearing medical support for those unable to afford these services. We support the District 24-A sight and hearing vans to screen students at local schools and adult communities, provide scholarship awards to young adults demonstrating a strong commitment to community service, we also provide health and welfare assistance to the area’s needy through contributions to the B.A.R.N. Transitional Housing project.

Who we are:  The Nokesville Lions Club was chartered in 1973 by a group of local businessmen as the 300th Lions Club in Virginia. We are as proud today as we were then to be a part of the world’s largest, most active service organization, the International Association of Lions Clubs.

Our major fund raising efforts include our annual Golf Classic held each spring at the Prince William Golf Course and our annual Charity Poker Run held each fall through the rambling countryside of western Prince William and Fauquier Counties. On the 3rd Saturday of May you will find us selling original “Kline’s” Chili dogs and our famous Pork Barbeque Sandwiches as part of the local Nokesville Day celebration.

Membership: The Nokesville Lions Club is always seeking new members and would like you to visit during one of our meetings. We usually meet twice monthly, on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday nights at the Nokesville Volunteer Fire Company, Station #5 on Marstellar Drive. We begin with a social at 7:00pm and dinner follows at 7:30pm. Dress is business casual. If you are interested in attending a meeting, or want to learn more about the club, please do not hesitate to contact our President John Murray at 703-283-8797 for more information.
