Boothville School reached out to Northampton Lions when their Forest Schools area was devastated by the poor weather this year, leaving equipment damp and unusable. A £500 cheque was presented by Club Secretary Cath Kendall.

Northampton Lions Club support the Counties Blood Bikers. Raising funds to keep them on the road to deliver blood products to the hospitals Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and Bedfordshire. A donation of £500 given this year will keep the bikes running and in good order.

Each member of the Club takes on a service activity that they are personally able to complete themselves, this has happened since Covid came along. This includes knitting new born baby hats for the local maternity units. Collecting and sorting food for the local foodbanks. Listening to people with issues about cost of living and mental health issues via the Samaritans.

We continue to distribute Message in a Bottles to local groups who regularly contact us. Little bottles which contain information about prescriptioneeds and medication requirements.
