Welcome to the North Newmarket Lions Website 

The North Newmarket Lions Club was Chartered on May 24, 1982 with 56 members. The Charter President was Lion Ellerby Farr, and the Extension Chair was Lion Ernie Crossland. The North Newmarket Lions Club currently has a membership of 48, with a goal of attaining a membership of 56 for our 30th Annivesary, in May 2012.   

The North Newmarket Lions Club is home to many past, current, and future Club and District A-16 Leaders. The North Newmarket Lions Club was voted the Best Lions Club in District A-16 (out of 55 Clubs), for 2009-2010, and 2010-2011. We are always looking for Community Minded People who would like to Make a Difference in their Community.

Lions Clubs International was voted the Best Non-Governmental Organization, in 2008, by the Financial Times, and was nominated by Former United States President Jimmy Carter, himself a Lion for over 50 years, for a Noble Peace Prize.
