Our club is planning several projects this year....below are just a few.  This page will be updated with more information as dates get finalized.  It will also have pictures of our sucessfully completed projects.  If your are interested in helping our community, consider joining or coming to a meeting.

Our focus is on community service and fellowship with folks who feel the same as we do.  After all, it is in our motto,

WE SERVE!!

Food Pantry Collection - This program has been ongoing during the Fall months.  the food is donated to our local homeless cold weather shelter located in Ocean City.

Peace Poster Contest - The Lions in partnership with Berlin Intermediate Scholl had another terrific Peace Poster Contest.  The contest is sponsored by LCI.  The contest chairperson this year was Lion and Past President Ken Robertson.  There were many participants and three were awarded prizes.  First Place was Kaylee Hererra-Mancinas, Second Place was Shay Flannery, Third Place was Grace Kline.  All 3 winners were presented prizes and the 1st place winner's poster went on to the District Level.  Congratulation's to all contestants for a job well done.

Environmental Project - Adopt a Highway Program

The Lions in partnership with State Highway have adopted a section of Route 611 near the Ocean City Lions Den.   We will be cleaning up this stretch of road 4 times a year in partnership with the Scouts and our LEO Club.  Look for the signs!! We will publish our cleanup date through a Facebook announcement so if you are interested give us a call and come on out to help!

Vision Screening - Our Club provides vision screening services to young people at our local elementary schools in the Fall.  Finding eye problems early in a young persons life is essential and can be life changing in a positive way.
