Presidents Corner
Fellow Lions,
What a beautiful Easter day. Spring is the time to renew our faith and recharge our inner battery's. It is also the time for us to recommit ourselves to this great organization. So many people need our help and thru the Lions clubs working together that is possible. One person can make a difference but when you put all the Lions together a miracle can happen.
We have pre-school children that need screening. We have the diabetes camp, the state convention, the homeless connect. All these projects need YOU. Our White Cane days are fast approaching and we need each person to commit to connecting with the people and bringing in at least $ 1,000.00. You just have to speak to each person and ask them to help us help others in need. Talk LIONS!
Our new officers will be voted on tonight. I look forward to new energy and ideas coming forth for the new Lions year. Support your officers by taking part in projects and most of all being at the meetings. We bond as a family when we get together and talk Lions!
We are Lions, be proud, wear your vest, pin, hat etc.
Talk Lions!!
Lion Nancy

Food for thought
It's Taxing
A man walked into the income tax department office, sat down and smiled at everyone. "May I help you?" asked the clerk in charge . "No" said the man. "I just wanted to meet the people I have been working for all these Years."
Diploma
Perhaps the best way to curb high school dropouts would be to make a high school diploma a prerequisite for obtaining a driver's license.
