Meetings

The Omokoroa and Districts Lions Club has been serving our local community since 1986. Our members enjoy regular monthly social meetings at the Omokoroa Settlers Hall at 6pm on the 2nd Wednesday of each month when we have a delicious meal and are entertained by interesting guest speakers.

Our projects include looking after the local green waste facility on behalf of the local council each Wednesday and Saturday afternoons and holding a sausage sizzle at the new market held at the Omokoroa Settler's Hall on the 4th Saturday of each month.

The photos above show our 2019 christmas market stall at the top of the page where we sold delicious locally made home baking and other produce as well as tasty sausages. The lower photo shows our stand at the Community Christmas held at and sponsored by our local supermarket, Fresh Choice, where we cooked and distributed 20kg sausages and 12 loaves of bread.

We also have a wide range of loan equipment suitable for people with disabilities/infirmities or who might be recovering from operations.

We would welcome anyone interested to get involved helping the local community to come and join us at one of our projects and/or to a social meeting. We look forward to seeing you soon.
